There is much said by the Board of how transparent they have been recently and that a new Montebello web site is planned. This should include a discussion list as well as maintenance requests, so that numerous requests do not have to be made for the same thing, as well as establishing an appropriate timeframe to complete these requests as well as informing the owners of actions taken. It should be noted that owners are giving 30 days to get in compliance for alleged or real infractions, yet months and years can pass on maintenance requests for Montebello to perform or take action on public areas, such as pool problems, stained wallpaper, cruddy plants, etc. All too often these issues are not dealt with or are continually repeated. If owners put in too many complaints about real problems, they are soon labeled as trouble makers and sometimes punitive action is taken against the owners that have complained. Or the ever-common denial of the issue. I'll be happy to provide documents to any one interested.

If issues are dealt with promptly, it would save staff time and money.
