Ok, didn't finish this up in a timely manner. Anyway, left Pittsburgh and got a hotel in Bedford, PA -- this was definitely saving the worst for last. Hint: When discount price is same as rack rate, you got a dump. Only "event" was falling asleep in crappy hotel with TV blaring due to loud noise from freeway--only to have someone pounding on my door in the middle of the night to turn the TV down. Scarey.

Traffic was bad as it was prior to the Fourth of July, so after Bedford headed back to Alexandria. Was great to finally know where I was going to be for the foreseeable future: on the other hand it's back to reality. All in all was a fantastic trip. Saw lots of great people and things; car behaved magnificently, and no major problems. What more could I have asked for?
