Took a bus to the strip. Hot, crowded, loud--music everywhere--flashing signs, etc. Way tacky. Went again in evening--things look better at night with lighting--a zillion folks passing out cards for  "women."

Temperature 98F for two days now. Outdoor pool is warm.

Wifi or internet is $9.99 extra a DAY! Even the Starbucks in the hotel charges for Wifi--minimum $5 plus so much per minute on their computer; so this won't get loaded unless I find another one nearby that doesn't charge so much. Good old Needles hotel for $20/night had free Wifi--plus outdoor pool that I had to myself!
