Two more visits in December 2009. 16th some weep hole(s) uncovered by a team of 3. Hopefully this works. Amazing. Leaks from bathroom above took YEARS to resolve with staff.

As of November 11-13 light rain. Continues to leak from lower left mainly and some lower right of center glass doors.
GM stated (after approaching her in the ladies room as email responses were unclear as to what if anything would be done--
that leak of my patio was put on push list, or contractor doesn't get paid till fixed. Unclear why not fixed when I first reported it and the scaffolding was still up.
In addition to emails, approached facilities staff several times in person. (Would all be so easy if leaks {and other problems} were handled when first addressed--instead
of putting off and creating more work for everyone--and problems exacerbate--and senior staff complain about being too busy!!!)
Supposedly leaks due to weep holes covered over by contractor--previously he attached some importance to a dropped paper clip on the outside ledge, and other
incomprehensible convoluted explanations intimating some fault of mine (?)!!!

Dear;

Please also forward these latest pictures of an ever-increasing leak on my balcony taken on November 1, 2009 during light rain to the contractor. Compare to the previous pictures, and it is easy to see that this problem has not been solved or may have gotten worse. I hate to think of what type of leaks this balcony would have during a really heavy rain or storm. There appears to be two sources of leaks--the dirty water from overhead and the clearer water leaking in from the cement.

I have heard from other residents that approximately 1/3 of the balconies of one of the other buildings have leaks that did not have leaks before.

It should again be noted that these leaks on my balcony did NOT exist prior to the work on the balconies, and are completely new from that time.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Dear :
Thank you for your prompt attention. Hopefully, they will also inspect the balcony above, as that is where these latest (dirty) leaks appear to be coming from (ceiling of my balcony). Most of the previous leaks that seemed to be leaking in from the ledge or where the rails meet the cement appear to have abated with the recent application of what appears to be a sealant. The overhead leak has increased.

Sincerely,

FRIDAY OCTOBER 16, 2009 At 5:00 p.m., Mr.     inspects balcony and promises to provide info from Structural Preservation Systems as to cause and solution of leaks in writing--till date (11/5/09) not provided.

It would be good if it was inspected while it is raining to see the leaks. I would like to clean it up before the wet puddle permanently damages the tiles.

Thanks,

Dear       :  Final inspection of your tier has not as yet taking place and this is expected to take place in about a week.  Before that Association staff and SKA will inspect your balcony to investigate your leak.

Subject: Please Pass to Board of Directors -- More Leaks on Balcony than Before

Dear Board of Directors:

Attached are photos of my balcony taken on Friday October 16, 2009 during a drizzle. My balcony, after all of this work and inconvenience, now leaks more than it ever did. In the past, a drizzle like we've had these past two days, would not have been a problem. Now, I have 3 leaks--in two areas that never leaked before (see photos). The biggest leak is in an area that never leaked before -- forming a large dirty puddle.

Supposedly, the work is done on building 4 tier 11, as they have painted the exterior. Please advise what measures are being taken to repair these leaks. If my balcony is leaking, surely others are as well.

Sincerely,
